We just bumped up payouts for Pornhub-exclusive models.
As of May 1st, 2018, exclusive models get an additional 5% of ad revenue for all free videos.
When you’re exclusive with Pornhub, along with the extra cash, you also get fully-automated copyright protection.
That means we’ll scan all the other tube sites, and if anybody is using your video without permission, we’ll get it removed with a DCMA takedown notice. The entire process is automatic – you don’t have to do anything.
The exclusive deal only applies to free/tube sites, so you can still upload your content to your own website, or sell videos on other non-free sites.
To become a Pornhub exclusive model, and benefit from copyright protection and extra money, just head to your Model Settings page and choose the option under the payment method. You also should have seen a pop-up when you logged in.
The box you need to check will appear next to a message beginning with: “By checking this box, I confirm my agreement to provide my content on an exclusive basis to Pornhub.” You’ll need to enter your initials to opt-in or opt-out of being exclusive.
The 5% payout increase applies only to free-to-view videos on Pornhub, and not to for-sale videos. However, your for-sale uploads will be copyright protected as well.
If you ever wanna upload to other free sites, you’ll need to opt-out of increased payouts and copyright protection.
