If there’s one question we often get across board is how to boost views and grow your fanbase. While it can hard to stand out and get noticed, there are few tools and tips you should consider when promoting content and growing your fanbase. It’s a balance between creating good content, engaging with fans, and using social media to promote your brand and your videos. Thankfully, we’ve got some tools that can help with that and alleviate some of the work, plus, some new features we’ll be announcing soon, too, so keep your eyes peeled!
Social Media is your best tool
Updating your Twitter account and posting about new uploads can be time consuming and a lot of work, so we’ve made things a little easier for you with automated tweets. Not only will it help grow your fanbase and improve engagement with your followers, but it’ll also help drive visits to your Pornhub and Modelhub pages to help boost views, sales, and Fan Club subscriptions.
In case you didn’t already know, you can connect your Twitter account directly to Pornhub, and we'll take care of notifying your Twitter followers whenever you upload a new video, add a new Fan Club video, or when you sell a video on Modelhub. You also get to decide the max number of tweets you want per video and the max number of tweets from your account per day.

It also helps to have your Pornhub link in your profile so your fans can find you easily on our site.
As for getting retweeted on our Twitter accounts, here are some handy tips to keep in mind.
-Tag @PornhubModels OR @PHModelsGay (depending on where you'd like to get retweeted)
-Include the link to you video
-Include a high-quality thumbnail or short video preview
-Don’t use hashtags
-Don’t tag anyone else
-Don’t tag @PornhubHelp

Being predictable isn't always a bad thing
No matter your schedule or how often you produce new content, being consistent when it comes to video uploads can also help grow your fanbase. Whether you post a new video every Monday or every two weeks on your Pornhub page, sticking to a schedule can help build anticipation. Let your fans know when they can expect new content and hype it up with teasers and behind-the-scenes photos.
A good thumbnail can go a long way
One way to help your video stand out among the others on the page is with a captivating thumbnail. Good news is, you have the option to create and upload a custom thumbnail for your for-sale videos on Modelhub and pay-to-download videos.
Whether it’s a frame from the video or a photo taken during production, using a high-quality and alluring thumbnail can be just the thing that gets you that click. We also suggest adding your branding, like your username or logo to your thumbnails so users can recognize and remember your content.
If you choose to add text, be sure it does not cover more than 1/3 of the image. We also discourage “click bait” or unrelated text. Let your image and title speak for itself.
You can even host a poll and ask your fans what thumbnail you should use which will not only give you insight on what works best, but also boost engagement.
Speaking of titles
Your title is just as important as your thumbnail. Just like a good headline, be sure your title is creative and descriptive so viewers know what to expect. It also helps to add your stage name to your title so viewers can recognize your videos and get to know your PH name.
Tag…you’re it
In order to increase the chances of your video popping up during a search is to tag, tag, tag! We suggest using up to 16 tags that best describe your video, the performers, actions, the fetishes, and the cumshot. One way to grow a loyal fan base is to be honest about what’s in your videos by choosing the right tags; you don't want to be misleading people.
We also encourage you to pick up to 8 relevant categories, and use niche categories too if you can to make sure it’s visible to the right fans. We’re always updating the Top 100 Searches right here so you could see what’s trending worldwide.
A personal touch
Spend some time on your profile so users can get to know you a little more. Writing a bio and uploading photos like behind-the-scenes shots is great for engagement and can help keep fans enticed enough to subscribe to your Fan Club for exclusive content. Even something as easy as including info on your background, personal traits, and measurements can help new fans find you. Be sure to also include any social media accounts like Instagram and Snapchat on your profile so you can grow your followers and update them whenever you’ve got new content.
You could also put together curated playlists based around specific themes; a collection of videos that you pick and choose and share with other Pornhub members. You can put together playlists for specific holidays or have one with your favourite videos to share with your fans on social media.
