International Women’s Day 2024 - Sarah Arabic

Discussing Growth and Freedom of Sexual Expression!

Today is International Women’s Day, a global day of celebration highlighting women’s rights and gender equality. The theme for this year is “Inspire Inclusion,” and we spoke with Sarah Arabic about what that means. She tells us how she went from a conversative upbringing in Iraq to becoming an adult content creator, her exploration of kink and how that helped define her sexuality, who her mentors and favorite Models are, and more!

You have had quite the journey within the adult industry. Tell us how you went from growing up in a conservative household in the Middle East to being a recognizable name in the Model Program?

Growing up in Iraq, I was surrounded by people who enforced ideas that sex was shameful for women, and I should feel guilty for any feelings of desire or intimacy. Our bodies were considered shameful and always kept covered in public places, except our hands and face. I still recall being pulled aside by the Morality Police when I rolled my cuffs back, exposing my wrists.  This of course was met with disciplinary actions when they reported it to my parents.

After high school, I moved to Dubai for university. This is where I finally got my own computer and slightly less restricted internet access. I found a sex-positive forum for women who were talking about how to masturbate and what an orgasm felt like. I lived in the women’s dorm rooms, so I had to time out my self-experimentation around when my roommate would be gone for classes. One day it all clicked, and I got to experience the big “O” firsthand, changing my life forever.

After finishing my Masters, I accepted a job in the U.S., moving into my own place and finally having the room to explore my fantasies in real life. Shortly after that I had my first sexual experience with a DILF, who introduced me to my love of being spanked and other kinks. I found an online fetish community that I lurked in for a year before getting the encouragement to post my first nude online. Within a day I had an inbox flooded with people who adored my photo. The attention was such a turn on, so I did it again and again. This is where I learned my biggest turn on of all, turning someone else on.

I began posting more pictures and clips that gained the attention of a producer who did gangbangs, which was one of my biggest fantasies. Everything grew from there. I love knowing that people desire to see me engaged sexually. Eventually I showed my entire face and now here I am!

What 3 tips would you give to sex workers who are just starting out?

First, you are only competing with yourself. This community is full of amazing and diverse people, all offering something unique and amazing. The most important thing is finding your own voice and what you enjoy. Second, it is going to be a lot more work than you imagine. There will be days when you do not feel like creating anything, but you must push through them. Create something, anything, each day and do not lose that rhythm. Lastly, do not isolate yourself within the community. Every creator’s journey began somewhere, just like yours, so build good trusting relationships with others in the community.

Tell us about your exploration of kink and BDSM. What has freedom of sexual expression taught you about yourself?

Kink empowered me to explore myself more openly. While I was being submissive, I learned that I loved showing myself off. I enjoyed being the center of attention at events or play parties, volunteering to be the first one tied up or on the spanking bench. It also opened endless creative possibilities with sexual expression. There were so many things I wanted to explore and try, and it is a fascinating world without any judgement or fear of being shunned or looked at differently.

In a world of talent, how do you make sure to stand out? How does brand marketing play a role in your growth strategy?

I always felt it was more important to focus on what you truly enjoy in this lifestyle, versus what you might think is more marketable.  I have seen so many creators get burned out by trying to chase the latest trends in the community, compared to doing what they really enjoy. I am terrible at marketing; I never really gave it much thought. Instead, I always wanted to focus on being as transparent as possible. I have no clue what I am doing 90% of the time, but that last 10% though, *chefs kiss*.

How involved are you when it comes to pre and post-production for your own content? Do you have any tips to share for other Models who are doing their own edits?

I fell in love with the creation process from the beginning and wanted to learn and do everything. This is to my detriment, as I am always three or four projects behind where I want to be. But I take pride in the fact that everything you see from me is what I want you to see.

If I could give any advice, it would be to ask a lot of questions from people who are already doing the things you want to do. I am that girl on set, always bothering the crew about how to get a better shot, cleaner audio or direct other talent. Little of what I know I learned entirely on my own.

The 2024 theme for International Women’s Day is “Inspire Inclusion,” can you tell us what that means to you?

We have seen a shift away from the previous norms to include more creators with diverse backgrounds in the mainstream. It is such a beautiful thing to see and hear all these stories coming from amazing women, of all backgrounds. Personally, when I got started in the industry, I wanted to be the person I did not see represented a lot, and I feel quite happy with the change we see happening. Girls from all different backgrounds feel empowered to pursue their desires, and I think that is magical.

Do you have any female mentors or role models in the industry? Who inspires you?

Absolutely! There are so many amazing and powerful women in this industry now. For me, one of my biggest role models has been Roxie Sinner. Seeing another real Arabic creator succeed at the level she has, and look so amazing doing it, it is hard not to look up to her.

Kazumi is one of my biggest inspirations. Everything she does is with poise and confidence, and I find it absolutely mesmerizing. I love her so much!

What kind of activities do you enjoy doing? Any hobbies, passions, or causes you want to tell us about?

I just started to learn how to play the bass. I am awful at it, but I really love the challenge of trying something new. It has been fun for me! I have always had the biggest crush on girls who can play instruments. So, in 5-10 years you just might see me in a sex worker punk band!

Who are some Performers we should all have on our radar and why? (please include female performers and/or Trans Women)

Jasmine Sherni is an absolute goddess, full of light, my biggest crush; I love her to death. She is such a hottie and I cum to all her films! Ray Ray must be one of the hardest working women in the industry. Every time I work with her, I am inspired to push myself to do better and more at what I am doing. She is focused and knows exactly what she wants out of a shot. It is never a bad experience with her. There are probably a thousand more I could mention here if we had more time. This is why the Model Program is so amazing! Every creator can go and make their own art and express themselves for everyone's enjoyment.
