If there was a Pornlympics, Serenity Cox would probably be waving with a medal on a pedestal. In the last 6 months, this hotwife’s channel broke the top 100 ranking and accumulated over 40 million views. We’re sitting down with the irresistible Canadian to find the secrets to her success!
How did you get your start in adult films? What drew you to this industry?
It sort of all happened by accident. My husband and I have been filming our sexual adventures for years. Initially, it was just for our own enjoyment. We would set up the tripod in our bedroom or turn the iPhone camera on during a kinky outing, reviewing it later as we ravaged each other. Then when I started seeing other people I would send photos and videos to my husband as a little tease of what I was getting up to without him. I enjoyed this so much I began taking longer and more thoughtful videos, eventually involving my husband in the filming and sometimes joining in for a threesome. We ended up with hours of really exciting footage and obviously, the exhibitionist side of me thought “hey! let’s upload a few videos onto PornHub and see what happens”... so this past summer we uploaded our first video and I could not have been more surprised by the response.
Tell us more about the “hotwife” kink and what filming your real-life adventures has been like.
In my kink life, I identify as a “hotwife”, meaning I’m married, blissfully in love with my husband but I seek out sexual fulfillment with partners outside my marriage, with the consent and encouragement of my husband. I think people are drawn to this dynamic because it’s not quite socially acceptable. There is a lot of naughtiness and taboo around it but at the same time nobody is getting hurt, there’s no deception, it’s just a really sexy good time.
What did you find difficult at the beginning? Did you find anything surprisingly easy?
I honestly had zero expectations going into this, however the overwhelmingly positive response from the PornHub community has made my entry into amateur adult filming surprisingly easy. I really enjoy hitting the model program milestones and achievements because it adds another element of fun to keep me creating content.
It seems like your channel blew up overnight! What do you attribute your newfound success to?
I wish I could tell you. I just create content I enjoy and I think that comes across in my videos. People have told me I have a very “girl next door” vibe and perhaps that has a lot to do with it. And this “girl next door” is genuinely enjoying herself, laughing, smiling, in a very real and inviting way.

Your channel really gives off a sense of authenticity. Is Serenity Cox a character you play or are you one in the same? How are you similar/different?
Oh Serenity is 100% me! I’ve been documenting my hotwife adventures since long before I joined the PornHub community and I’ll continue to do so even after people lose interest in Serenity Cox. And I believe that might be part of what has made my channel successful. This is a real person filming her real sexual encounters for her own pleasure.
Would you say you’re shy or outgoing in your personal life? Who were you before becoming the PH hotwife.
I can be a little of both, but if you were to meet me in the real world the last place you would expect to find me is on PornHub capturing MMF’s and double facials. Before becoming “the PH hotwife” I was just a regular hotwife doing the same thing with the same people, I just wasn’t sharing it with the world yet.
How has your perception of the industry changed since joining?
It’s not so much my perception of the industry that has changed but my knowledge of the industry in general. Previously I’d watched porn and amateur porn but I never really considered who the creators or models were. From the channels I watch and interactions with other PH models I have found it is full of strong independent people helping other strong independent people to succeed. I feel there is no real competition and everyone shares in your successes. It really does feel like a family.
What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about the industry you wish you could change?
I think there is a misconception that you are not in control of the content you make or how you put it out there. As an amateur adult film creator, I have 100% control in everything I produce, I do the things I love with people I enjoy. It really is possible for the average person to create a successful and popular
channel.

What is next for Serenity Cox? Have you considered doing studio work?
While I have no immediate plans for studio work (plus I wouldn't know where to start), anything is possible. If you told me 6 months ago I would be in the top 100 amateur models on PornHub I would have laughed. I actually still laugh at how surreal it all has been. Right now I am happy just creating my own content for my own channel, although I wouldn’t be opposed to a collaboration with other popular PH models if the right opportunity came up.
When you’re not working, what can we find you listening to/ binge-watching/ reading?
My music playlist changes with my mood of course…you never know what you’ll find me listening to on any given day. In my down time I’m guilty of binge-watching old tv series. My most recent undertaking was the 80s classic Murder she Wrote…Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) was quite the vixen. I’m also a sucker for anything in the Star Trek franchise…but no I won’t be doing any Trekkie porn anytime soon!
What advice would you give Models who have just joined or are thinking of joining the industry?
Create the type of content you personally love and just enjoy yourself making it. After all, if you don’t love what you are doing why would you expect others to? I feel that love for what you are doing comes across in your videos, and I think many people are drawn to that type of authenticity.
