Our partner, Pineapple Support, is hosting a transformative three-day online educational event to delve into the complexities of loneliness and its profound impact on our well-being. Loneliness – An Epidemic will be held August 27 to 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST. You can expect an informative presentation followed by group discussion, including participation by panelists such as our Brand Ambassador Natassia Dreams. Pornhub is proud to sponsor this event designed specifically to address this common human condition.
In our increasingly digital world, passive consumption and social comparison are quickly replacing genuine human interaction, contributing to a significant rise in loneliness. This pervasive issue is not just a fleeting feeling; it negatively impacts both our physical and mental health.
While loneliness doesn’t discriminate, it can be particularly prevalent for individuals working in the adult industry. The nature of this work, often done in isolation and against a backdrop of polarized public opinion, can exacerbate feelings of loneliness. Whether you are creating content from home, engaging in web camming, or any other form of remote work, the lack of physical human connections can take a toll.
Through daily webinars, each lasting 1.5 hours, including a presentation followed by group discussion, event participants will begin unpacking feelings of loneliness, explore practical strategies for building and maintaining meaningful relationships, and discover the crucial role physical touch plays in our emotional well-being. Participants can also learn about ways to form connections that respect neurodiversity, accommodate different social needs, and gain insights into overcoming social anxiety to foster more fulfilling interactions.
Pineapple Support is one of the leading mental health initiatives for those involved in the adult industry. They provide 24/7 online emotional support as well as free and subsidized professional therapy and advice without discrimination, judgment, or stigma, to all eligible Performers and producers who have been active in the industry within the past 6 months.
We encourage our community to sign up for the event, Loneliness – An Epidemic if you think you would benefit from overcoming loneliness and building lasting connections.
